E-ONE - an independent test of water quality from units

Independent EONE water quality test from dental units. It is worth doing it from time to time to be sure that the water quality is correct before Sanepid will have reservations about it. This simple test will indicate after an hour whether or not to take any additional steps to disinfect the installation of the water system or if the water meets the standards.

Quantity

  • E | ONE - screening test of water quality from water pipes of the unit.
  • E | ONE - performed in the office by medical personnel.
  • It eliminates the need to give water to the Sanitary Inspection, you can do the measurement yourself.
  • Simple to use, ensuring that the water meets the purity criteria.
  • Water testing should be performed at least once every 6 months or every quarter.
  • Detects in the water colonies of bacteria (including Legionella and Mycobacterium), fungi and the presence of biofilms.
  • The test result is read after 1 hour.
  • There is no need to have an incubator.

  • Simple identification of test results based on the color of the water in the vial:
    • pink - the quality of the water is suitable (below 200 CFU / ml),
    • purple color - polluted water quality (above 200 CFU / ml),
    • transparent color - for water quality, large amount of bacteria (above 500 CFU / ml).

  • The set contains 1 test along with the instruction manual.
  • Remember: Regularly use water disinfectants: E20 liquid or Citrisil tablets.
  • There is only one way to find out if your water is clean - do a test before Sanepid does it for you

  • What to test? Water samples should be taken from sources used during the treatment of the patient: dental tips, syringe - water / air blowers, scalers and cup fillers with a cuspidor.
  • When to Test? Water testing should be performed at the beginning of the day, after rinsing the conduits and nozzles, water / air syringes and scalers and after reassembling them in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
  • How often do you test? Follow the manufacturer's instructions, or regional / national standards for testing water quality, and in the absence of recommendations or top-down standards, follow the EOne guidelines for routine periodic inspection.
    • Every quarter
    • Quarterly testing of at least one line / source from each bottle, eg from a water-air syringe.
    • Do not always test from the same source. All lines / sources should be tested at least once a year.
    • Additionally, once a quarter, test the cup filler for the spittoon bowl.
    • Every month
    • During the warmest quarter of the year, test every month instead of once a quarter.
    • Test at least one waterline per month.
    • In addition, test the water from the water feeder at the cuspidor every month.

       
  • Test conditions: Room Temperature (20-30 ° C). Incubator is not necessary, fast reading in 15 minutes. Final reading after 1 hour.
