  • Inside, an oral repair kit from Bisco provides all the materials necessary to repair the intraoral structure of a broken or damaged fill.
  • After cleaning and preparing the treatment area using the Bisco set, we will easily achieve aesthetic and long-lasting repair with the help of a composite material.
  • All elements of the kit will also be used in other dental procedures, and if one runs out, you will buy the missing item.
  • The intraoral repair kit is a very cost-effective solution and consists of a complete set of Bisco materials such as:
    • Barrier Gel - to protect places where etching is not desirable,
    • Porcelain Etchant - etchant for porcelain (9.5% HF),
    • Porcalain Primer,
    • Z-Prime Plus - primer increasing adhesion based on MDP monomer,
    • Opaquer - double cured,
    • Porcelain Bonding Resin.
  • Indications:
    • repair of works based on lithium disilicate and porcelain works,
    • repair of works with metal-based porecleans or zirconia / aluminum-based restorations,
    • repair of direct and indirect composite fillings.
  • Description of individual elements of the set:
    • Barrier Gel - it is recommended to use in places where etching is not desired. Steps should be taken to avoid contact with the etched glass with vitrified porcelain surfaces, because it will cause the surfaces to lose their gloss.
    • Porcelain Etchant 9,5% - it is important to properly handle porcelain, if we want the repair to be permanent - porcelain can be sandblasted, or hydrofluoric acid can be used,
    • Porcelain Primer - Silan is a coupling agent that should be used on the porcelain surface to improve adhesion to porcelain and improve the long-term durability of the repair,
    • Z-Prime Plus - one-component primer containing MDP monomer increasing adhesion to porcelain, zirconium, AL, metal,
    • Opaquer - some porcelain repair works require masking of exposed metal - the use of the composite itself is often unable to mask the dark shade of metal and must be used opaker - (by definition) is opaque and must be double cured to ensure complete polymerization,
    • Porceain Bonding Resin - placed thinly on the reconstruction - not only will it increase the binding strength with the filling, but will act as a moisturizing resin, allowing the composite to be spread evenly over the entire surface. After application, the resin does not shine! It should be applied a thin layer on the surface of the restoration to be repaired and then apply a composite to repair the restoration, shape it and cure it with light together.
